Well, not really “hiding”….. but she had to serve a virtual “redshirt year” when she jumped ship from the Golf Channel’s morning drive, to be part of the new Fox broadcast team that will take it’s first lashes at doing major championship golf on television this week from Chambers Bay.
First of all, good for her. Likely more money, and somewhat higher profile. She was born Holly Niederkohr and played golf at Michigan State. So she knows the game.
She’s obviously fit as hell, and if you like those… um… headcovers… then yeah, she’s perfect TV sports eye candy, and perfectly qualified to also bring some good insight to the coverage.
But I must say that it seems like she’s gone a bit overboard with some (un-necessary) plastic surgery in the year she’s been off of TV. Noticeably, something seems to happened to those soup-coolers!

Also, these photos from her recent shoot by Golf.com seem overly sexed up and contrived (black high heeled boots? Really?) while she’s got way too much eye makeup for my liking.
All that said, I’m a fan of the concept. Golf could use it’s own Erin Andrews, because eventually all that green grass and white belts gets rather monotonous, even for us golf nerds!
