“Tiers of A Clown” – NFL Week 1

It’s never too early to start sorting out the league, one level at a time. Anybody can Rank teams 1-32. I like to “group” them, because it makes more sense to my brain.

Plus, I find many teams share similar traits. So they belong together.

Argue with me all you like, but just remember: this could all change next week, and probably will! Let the great “kaleidoscope league” keep us guessing and re-assessing as summer turns to fall turns to winter!

  1. Long time reader, first time poster. Love the blog and have always been a fan of your spot on Bob & Brian.

I’m surprised you have the Raiders so low. They seem to be a chic pick this year.

Also, Pack are Tier 1. You knew I’d say that. Go Pack Go!

  2. This is terrible news. I have been a loyal listener for many years. As a sports fan, what I like about the Czaban three (4 when Murray or Galdi were there) is that y’all are like me and my buddies sitting around BSing about sports/the world. I don’t need scores, I get those instantaneously on my phone. I don’t need insight, I’ve been following sports for nearly 40 years. I can figure out what’s going on. I need a laugh and good conversation.

I listen every day. The entire podcast. I listen in the car, when I walk the dog or when my family needs a good tuning out. I even drank Leinenkugel, ordered Lebanon bologna and played Cover5.

I listen to y’all a lot as this story will demonstrate. When Scott went to the NHL’s Winter Classic a couple years ago, I just happened to have the game on the TV. Living in the south, my wife was confused to see hockey and asked me why I was watching such a silly game. I said: “I know a guy who’s there with his family.”

    Boo SB Nation! BOOOOOO! Liar!
