Simply awesome. No other words can describe it…

  1. Heard you on Bob, and Brian this morning…Thanks for giving hockey, and the NHL in particular it’s well deserved props…IMHO – nothing comes close to NHL playoffs, and what it takes for the players to win the Stanley Cup.

  2. It’s a blood rivalry, Czabe. The teams, the fans, and the cities hate each other. Habs fans think we’re a bunch of thugs and goons, and Bruins fans think they are a bunch of gutless divers who play a dishonorable brand of hockey. I get physically ill when we lose to the Canadiens.

  3. I hate to be too critical, especially since I don’t watch hockey either, but that video did very little to explain a “rivalry.” Yes, it showed highlights of intense playing against each other, but there was no real, “This is our enemy” and “We feel this way about them” moments except for maybe one or two quotes. Heck, even one highlight was against a different team. If you’re going to hype a sport and a rivalry, at least include some explanation of why it’s so interesting rather than show a bunch of highlights.

    • Eddie, wtf are you talking about? You admit it showed highlights of intense play vs each other, but don’t think that’s what makes a rivalry? I can’t even comment on your suggestion about ” If you’re going to hype a sport and a rivalry, at least include some explanation of why it’s so interesting rather than show a bunch of highlights.”
