What’s up with this new TV trend of showing slow motion reaction replays? They have a camera trained on a player, coach, or even the owner, then rather than showing us another replay from a different angle, we get reactions to said play, in super slo-mo.

    Czabe,

I’m a huge Saints fan, and I couldn’t agree with you more on your comments about Sean Payton being a bitch. His biggest problem as a head coach is he is too emotional. Once that play happened, I was pissed, but told my wife that Payton needs to move on from that bullshit non-call. Of Course, he didn’t and they lost the game. I have seen him lose games because he lets his emotions get the best of him and can’t move on from a bad call. Oh well, maybe next year. It could be worse, I could be a Redskins fan.

    Anti-coin flip

Why the coin flip? Didn’t the Chiefs earn home field advantage? Do away with coin flip in all games. Home team should have the choice at the start of the game and in any overtime. During regular season, all teams would have an equal number of choices. In playoffs, this would be one of the “home field” advantages.

Czabe…did you make money on the Rams? I ask this since everyone that feels that the PI non-call in the Saints-Rams game affected the outcome is a “Bitch” and that the play was just simple human error or that there was no clear or convincing evidence that there was any PI at all.

You are cool, calm and collected about it all. It was just one play….no big deal….didn’t have any more affect on the game than any other play in the game. That sounds like someone that made money because of the non-call, non-game-affecting play.

Maybe we should go back to the old days of pick up games and allow the players to have input into the calls. It would have made an interesting moral discussion yesterday considering Robey-Coleman knew he had committed the foul and Brady likely knew that was not roughing the passer.

Love the idea of NFL relegation!

    What about these ideas?
    1. Upper division: 17 teams that play a 16-game schedule on Sunday/Mondays
    2. Lower division: 15 teams that play a 14-game schedule on Thursdays
    3. Bottom two upper division teams automatically relegated
    4. Top two lower division teams automatically promoted
    5. Upper division teams finishing 14th-15th play lower division teams finishing 3rd and 4th for upper division spots.
    6. Top six upper division finishers make Super Bowl playoffs
