The NFL’s new “Lowering Your Head” rule (it needs a more catchy moniker) is either going to radically change the pro game as we know it, or it’ll just be another quickly junked bad idea in sports.

  1. Eric here. Bob & Brian listener. I don’t get why they cant simplify a “Legal Tackle or Hit” as one where we go back to “Old School” in that a player Must “Wrap up” the opponent with his arms. any other of these “Hits”, IE: Shoulder only, will be penalized as “Spearing” and ejected from the game. 3rd offense ends a player’s season.
